Whisky Ship

 7 Dec 2003

Last weekend I visited the fifth annual whisky exhibition here in Zürich, the Whisky Ship. There were several exhibitors, each offering samples of lots of whiskies. Unfortunately (for my bank account, that is) they also sold whole bottles =)

According to my tasting notes, I tried 60 whiskies over the four days... The highlights were:

Bowmore Seadragon91-92 p
Bowmore (Celtic Heartlands)       90-91 p
Longrow "Dreams" 198790 p
Brora (DL) 1982 19 y.o.90 p
Longrow (Samaroli) 198789-90 p
Port Ellen (DL) 1979 21 y.o.89 p
Rosebank (DL) 1975 27 y.o.89 p
Macallan (Celtic Heartlands)89 p
