New whisky of the month - another T-whisky

 3 May 2005

The new "whisky of the month" is a very old one. It doesn't taste that old though - it's very fruity and balanced and the nose is among the best I've experienced. It's the Tamdhu 1958 from Hart Brothers. A friend of mine discovered it at last year's Whisky Ship and now we've ended up splitting a bottle. Well, not the bottle, but the whisky...

With a bit of searching on the web I've found out that a) it's a sherry finish and b) it's also available in the "Prenzlow" series from Jack Wiebers Whisky World. No wonder I thought the two bottlings were similar!
