Wild Turkey Straight Rye 50.5% Quite nice nose with vanilla, fruits and a cereal note. Intense, powerful palate. Dry and bitter at first but softens, turns sweeter and develops notes of apricot, vanilla and oak. Very nice finish with notes of orange-flavoured candy and vanilla. All in all powerful, unusual and entertaining. (Needs just a drop of water.) Score: 85 p |
