The best Port Ellen! (so far...)

I'm back from my summer hiatus with a new whisky of the month. It's a brilliant bottling of Port Ellen from the dis­til­lery's final year of operation. It's a 1983, cask no. 3120 from the "Golden Cask" series. It's in fact the best Port Ellen I've ever tried! And as it happens, it's the 600th single malt I have reviewed... (Thanks to Johan for the sample!)
